FAQs
Business questions
How do you price a commercial job?
A written quote first. One-off carpets are £2.50/m² and contracts £2/m², with a £120 minimum visit and no VAT to add. We price your specification before booking, taking account of the material and working conditions, including access restrictions or a visit outside normal hours.
Do you provide RAMS and insurance documents?
Yes. Ask for RAMS and our £5M public liability certificate, and send the building manager’s contractor requirements before the visit so we can agree the paperwork and entry procedures. Tell us beforehand if an induction is needed.
What should I send for a quote?
Send a brief. Include the postcode and required date, describe the flooring or chairs with approximate quantities, and name the site contact who can explain any restrictions affecting the visit. Measurements uncertain? Say so. We agree what needs checking before pricing.
What is included in the carpet clean?
Stain and spot treatment is included. So is free deodorising. Carpet cleaning also includes 99.9% sanitisation. We inspect the material before choosing a suitable method and explain what is realistically achievable for the marks we find. Some stains are permanent. Cleaning does not reverse wear.
Which office chairs can you clean?
Chairs used at desks or tables. Meeting-room and canteen seating cost the same £10 per chair, with a £120 minimum visit covering 12 chairs for a chairs-only booking at that rate. Combine fewer chairs with the carpets on one quote. Commercial lounge seating and sofas are excluded.
Can we arrange recurring carpet cleaning?
Yes. Book an individual clean or arrange a recurring carpet contract. Footfall determines the useful interval, whether you need regular attention to communal walkways or a planned school-holiday clean. Tell us the frequency you want. We agree the scope and price before starting.
When do we receive the invoice?
On completion. No upfront payment is required. Confirm the billing company and accounts contact when booking. Send a purchase order number before the visit if your accounts team needs one to process the invoice. The agreed documents set out payment terms. Third-party billing needs written agreement; it does not automatically transfer your responsibility to pay.
What areas do you cover for commercial cleaning?
Essex, London & Kent. For business premises throughout those areas, send the site postcode with your enquiry so we can plan the journey from Basildon and agree access before quoting. Homes use a separate map: Essex & East London.
Which premises and services do you clean?
Offices, schools, nurseries, hotels, care homes, shops, pubs, restaurants, surgeries, gyms and managed communal areas. We clean commercial carpets and carpet tiles in those premises, plus desk, meeting-room and canteen chairs.
Can you clean early, in the evening or at weekends?
Yes, by arrangement. We agree early-morning, evening or weekend access with your contact around the hours when the premises are occupied. Out-of-hours work can cost more, and the written quote shows that cost before you book.
Do carpet tiles need to be lifted?
No uplift needed. Tiles stay laid while we clean the quoted areas in place, including traffic lanes and communal corridors, with particular care agreed beforehand for raised-access flooring or wiring. Clear loose items. Fixed furniture stays put, so agree which areas we can reach.
How soon can people use the carpet again?
Usually 30–90 minutes for carpet. That means walk-on dry. It can still feel slightly damp, while thick pile or natural fibres may take much longer to dry fully. Ventilation matters. We discuss using the rooms before cleaning. Office chairs have no equivalent drying-time promise.
Who will attend and how do you handle site access?
Normally our own trained team. We tell you ahead of time if anyone else will attend. Appoint a site contact. Explain the entry procedure and any requirements for parking or using the lifts, including who may authorise extra work while we are there. Clear heavy furniture and electrical items from areas you want reached.
What if we are unhappy with the cleaning?
Tell us within 14 days. Our free re-clean guarantee covers the affected area or item under the terms of business. It concerns cleaning results. New spills and wear are excluded, as are damaged materials or problems we identified before starting as unlikely to improve. Describe the concern. We review it and agree the next step.
